Congratulations to Laurie Ruettimann on her fantastic new career opportunity.
Laurie supposedly has just accepted a new position at one of her favorite companies – Walmart.
Always a company on the leading edge of business, Walmart has hired Laurie in a newly created position - Minister of Culture. From what I understand, the duties are still being developed, but her central focus will be to craft and implement a new Punk Rock Employment brand for the company that is also one of the largest countries on our planet. Rumor has it that a new slightly more corporate version of Punk Rock HR will appear on the Walmart corporate blog site, starting April 1st. The working title for the new blog is reportedly Walmart Rocks!
Jason Davis of Recruiting Blogs who owns the Punk Rock HR brand was unavailable to comment on how many millions of dollars he was paid by the Bentonville giant in order to secure the talented Ms. Ruettimann.
