The book is called
“10-10-10,” written by Suzy Welch. The core premise is that as a part of decision making, you should apply a 10-10-10 rule.
Essentially, whenever you make a decision, you should be asking yourself what the impact of your decision be in 10 minutes, 10 months, and 10 years. This gives a different perspective than your typical “split second” decision.
I’ll have to remember to ask Sharlyn Lauby about this at the HR Florida state conference when I am live blogging there in August.
Maybe the sequel will be “3-3-3″!
