All 2008 NLRB Decisions nullified
As we had discussed here previously, the two person NLRB scheme used to run the board during the last year of the Bush administration has proven to be legally insufficient.
According to a report from Associated Press, a court ruling has nullified all 2008 NLRB case decisions due to failing to have a complete board in place.
A federal appeals court has wiped away with one opinion some 300 decisions made last year by the Bush administration’s labor relations board.
The U.S. Court of Appeals in Washington said Friday that all the decisions handed down in 2008 by the National Labor Relations Board are invalid because they were made by just two members.
The board had three vacancies because Democrats who controlled Congress objected to President George W. Bush‘s labor policies and refused to confirm his nominees.
